Whitepages provides contact information for people and businesses that allows them to connect, having developed a variety of services that make use of its extensive repository of data. Whitepages had a vision for a corporate website but lacked the means to strategize, design, and develop the vision and turn it into a high-quality user experience. We conducted user research, functionality and technology planning, UI/UX design, content and messaging, visual design, and web development to help Whitepages create a web experience that did justice to their vision and allowed them accomplish their business goals.
Rooted in Research
The collaboration began with research – gathering requirements, planning features, and outlining functionalities for the website in order to deliver the desired user experience. This was followed by a wireframe, mockup, and development process, allowing us to give Whitepages a robust WordPress back-end to customize everything on the site. After launch, we did additional work on their about.whitepages.com site that had a distinct but related style and messaging framework.
A Robust Site
The final deliverables included the launched pro.whitepages.com website, a robust WordPress site with 14+ templates and a page builder, in addition to the ability to customize menu, images, headings, and copy as needed. We enabled Whitepages to easily manage their own content and implement changes after the consultation was finished. The result was a strategic overhaul of their corporate website that improved their SEO, was responsive, and allowed for CMS training to empower their organization to take ownership over the end product.
We met the aggressive year-end deadline and completed the website within two months. Whitepages has since reported an increase in traffic and improved engagement with increased time on page.
