We redesigned a website to highlight an organization's talent, longevity, and extensive services
Eyecare Associates hired Fresh to revitalize the site's aesthetics and functionality to improve first impressions and brand credibility. Before our involvement, the site was overly text-heavy and forced users to read the content rather than scanning to find what they need. In addition to reimagining information architecture, we were also tasked with implementing a consistent brand that advertises Eyecare Associates' talent, 50 years of experience, and multiple locations throughout the Willamette Valley Region of Oregon.
By reorganizing website content and layouts into smaller chunks with supporting imagery, we directed users' attention to where Eyecare Associates wanted it: their extensive services and numerous convenient locations. The original site was accessible on mobile devices, but it lacked effective navigation and was overly text-heavy. Beyond simple responsiveness, we ensured that the navigation is logical and seamless for all forms of access.

Prioritizing mobile responsiveness
Making sure your site is mobile responsive is essential: research shows that over half of web traffic worldwide happens on phones. Because a website is often an organization’s first impression, emphasizing mobile appearances and functionality is vital.
Eyecare Associates’ original site was visible on mobile, but it lacked effective navigation and was overly reliant on text. By utilizing tiles, visuals to supplement text, and layouts that emphasized scannability, we created a site that maintains its integrity and performance regardless of where it’s accessed.
