Pioneers in precision medicine
Caris Life Sciences gives cancer patients more options. That potentially means more time with those who are most important.
Caris Life Sciences sought to improve the online experience for patients seeking information about individualized cancer treatments and physicians requesting testing kits and supplies. Our task was to design and develop a site that provided customers with optimized access to services and provided Caris with visibility into their website’s performance.
Fresh planned and designed the UI and built a professional, easy-to-use website that showcased Caris Life Sciences’ experience and established customer credibility.
The responsive site is built with WordPress, which allows easy editing and includes plugins to optimize page speed, improve SEO, and track more detailed analytics. Customer engagement was enhanced with an online supplies request form. We also updated their Careers section to include online application functionality.
A collaboration fueled by design thinking
All websites require a baseline level of usability. But for Caris, it was essential. Patients, physicians, and those interested in learning about Caris needed efficient pathways through the site. With three distinct types of users, a design-first approach was essential.
Fresh designers and developers provided consultation end-to-end, from UI sketches to the polished, finished product. The site tells a compelling story about Caris Life Sciences’ experience and differentiators while addressing the user flows and making them as streamlined and efficient as possible.
Before & After
An engine for seamless content creation
Part of what sets WordPress apart is the easy editing it provides to content creators and its numerous plugins. While Fresh completed the tech stack and initial site overhaul, we trained Caris to maintain the site moving forward. Because they know their customers and clientele better than anyone, our goal was to give them the ability to continue generating content and pivot their messaging as user needs change and evolve.
