Launched just 23 days after ChatGPT’s debut, it enables anyone—not just software engineers—to connect leading AI models and build powerful single-purpose AI apps in minutes, with no code. By giving non‑technical users a simple way to create and share AI tools, Brancher.AI turned early experimentation into a widely adopted platform for everyday innovation.
Challenges
Even with the impressive promise of generative AI, non‑technical users initially had no practical way to turn ideas into working AI tools. Most solutions required coding skills or complex setup, keeping experimentation in the hands of experts. At the same time, interest in AI was surging across roles and industries. Brancher.AI set out to lower the barrier dramatically, making it possible for anyone to design and launch their own AI apps in a matter of minutes.
Shipping a no-code AI builder
Brancher.AI began as an experiment in rapid innovation and responsible AI. Invited to the Ben’s Bites AI Hackathon, the Fresh Labs team had just seven days to define the concept, architecture, and experience for a no‑code AI app builder—and ship a working product.
After 170 focused hours, they launched Brancher.AI, won first place, and quickly attracted early adopters, generating thousands of user sign‑ups and AI app creations within weeks.
Enabling users to “branch” models
Brancher.AI acts as an “AI model connector,” letting people visually branch together large language models and other generative tools into custom apps. Users can start from ready‑made templates or design their own flows, turning ideas into working tools without writing code.
Integrations with platforms like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Hugging Face, and DALL·E remove technical barriers so individuals can focus on creativity, experimentation, and real‑world outcomes instead of infrastructure.
