Walter earned his BA in Mathematics from the University of Washington and has spent the last decade as a software developer at Fresh Consulting, working with clients including CBRE, Facebook, Microsoft, Symetra, and others. Over that time, he’s developed deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Ionic. His work at CBRE spanned several full-stack web and mobile projects over nearly four years. More recently, he contributed to TruckTrax, a map-based enterprise application for real-time tracking and delivery management of industrial building materials. He also led frontend development on a sports platform for Team Nation, and built a 3D facial landmark visualization tool for Facebook using Three.js.
Walter has a particular passion for highly interactive, visual experiences — from canvas-based GUIs to interactive 3D applications. He has worked with Gaussian Splatting and has hands-on familiarity with the photogrammetry pipeline behind it. While his strengths lie in front-end and UI development, he’s equally comfortable working across the stack with Node, Express, and PostgreSQL.
Outside of work, Walter enjoys playing soccer and producing electronic music. He’s always up for a conversation about music and what people are currently listening to.
