Austin has nearly a decade of professional experience in software engineering and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Prior to joining Fresh, he developed anesthesia information management systems for healthcare software company Epic. Austin worked closely with QA, UX, and customer-facing teams to help Epic create intuitive user workflows and high-performing functionality.
Austin has expanded from back-end to full-stack development, most recently focusing in React. He’s also led a team to maintain and integrate with a legacy system, including determining project requirements and establishing timelines.
He enjoys travel, playing video games, and working with game engines in his spare time.
