Refreshing the Team Experience: 2017 Retreats

One of Fresh’s 2017 goals was to continue actively enriching our company culture and employee experience, which has been a key focus over the last several years. In order to achieve the goal, we integrated off-site retreats this summer for multiple teams!

Fresh developers headed to a Leavenworth cabin for rock climbing, Bavarian food, and board games.

The business development team hopped over to Langley for golf, a salmon bake, and late-night foosball and air hockey tournaments.

Fresh designers took a trip to the Oregon coast to hike and spend time outdoors. Fresh project managers jet skiied and wakeboarded on Lake Chelan.

Suffice it to say, Fresh had a busy summer of team building! During each trip, Fresh leads facilitated group discussions to explore Carolyn Dweck’s book, Growth Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, and how it relates to our company philosophy.

What Makes Us Fresh?

Our mission to build high-end websites and apps and bring value to our clients; our focus on integrating design and development to innovate and invent value – these pieces define the work we do. But what defines our team is cohesiveness, integration, and harmony.

By focusing on employee experience – in addition to customer experience and user experience – we all participate in creating a place we love coming to work and team members with whom we love building what’s next!
