Johnny and Elisha react live to the exciting unveiling of Samsung’s new devices at Samsung Unpacked 2022. They announced the launches of the:

To watch the unveiling, we jumped directly into Decentraland in the Connectivity Theater. Major partnerships unveil each product, such as the Bridgerton ad reveal for the Galaxy S22 and The Batman ad reveal for the Galaxy Tab S8.

We talk through the new camera tech upgrades, such as optical image stabilization, the AI Stereo Depth Map, etc. Now your camera can compose images together where in the past, you had to use Photoshop to stitch them together. For the new Galaxy Tab 8, we’re amazed by the Collaboration feature that allows the user to use their phone as almost a “painter’s palette” to change a brush or choose a color and then draw on their tablet as a canvas.

Elisha thinks aloud on how Samsung’s strength is its vast catalog of products where you can create a unified ecosystem. He also talks about a weakness being that the UI is owned externally.

Johnny asks Elisha what he thinks the “next big thing” is for phones. Watch the video to find out their answers and predictions. Hint: they both heavily lean towards Augmented Reality advances.

Samsung is ahead of the game by doing these product launches in Decentraland compared to Google or Apple. Looking forward to doing more challenges and unveilings in the Metaverse!
