Fresh Consulting is pleased to announce we will again be sponsoring the Washington State math teams for the international ARML competition.

ARML (Americans Regions Mathematics League) is a team-oriented high-school-level mathematics competition that started in 1975. Multiple 15-student teams from schools throughout Washington state will travel to the University of Nevada, Reno, on June 2 and 3 for a two-day competition of team and individual events featuring challenging mathematical problems.

Jeff Soesbe, Senior Software Engineer in Fresh’s hardware group, is the volunteer coach and organizer of the Washington ARML Teams. The Washington ARML teams will practice at Fresh Headquarters in Bellevue during April and May weekends. Fresh will also provide copies of practice materials, drinks, and snacks for the student practices.

Last year, with Jeff coaching and Fresh sponsoring, the Washington teams were among the top placers. The Washington A1 team was tenth overall, and the Washington A2 team was fifteenth overall out of approximately 170 teams worldwide, consisting of approximately 2500 students.

Fresh Consulting is thrilled to help the Washington ARML math teams in their quest to be their best at the competition.

Good luck, Washington ARML!
