Sophia is a Mechanical Engineer who specializes in mechanical and electrical design, rapid prototyping, and custom tooling using FDM and SLA 3D printing, machining, and injection molding. With a background in agricultural robotics, she brings expertise across the full spectrum of electromechanical systems — from CAD design in NX and Solidworks to electrical component selection, wiring, and microcontroller programming in C++ and Python. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, hiking, skiing, and chatting about baseball, F1, and cars.
