Ian McDermott
Ian has a strong manufacturing background with nearly a decade of experience in new product development. He’s accomplished in taking projects from prototype to production, designing and prototyping components including harnesses, wire assemblies, cables, and junction boxes. Ian specializes in electrical design and prototyping. He studied Electrical Theory at Renton Technical College.
In his previous role as Electrical Lead at Genie’s Manufacturing Technical Services Group, Ian trained global teams and created company-wide standards for harness boards.
Music, outdoor sports, and rebuilding his thirty-three-year-old 4Runner are some of Ian’s favorite hobbies.
