Bert is an electronic hardware designer with an MS in Electrical Engineering. His background in wireless system design led him to integrating embedded electronics into remote sensors. The products he’s helped develop and bring to market have given researchers the ability to study marine animals in their natural habitats.
Outside of work he enjoys barbecuing, snowboarding with skiers, writing songs, and gardening with his wife. He likes conversing about landscape architecture, the utility of design, and food science.
