Mike Hugh

Mike is an automation engineer with a BS in mechanical engineering. At Washington State, he was an avid member of the Combat Robotics team, before moving into mechanical design and manufacturing after college. Through that role, Mike transitioned to PLC programming and HMI development. Outside of work, Mike can be found plotting new Dungeons and Dragons adventures, consuming books in dangerous quantities, or making small robots and costumes.

 

Mike’s experience includes…PLC programming with structured text for plant control. Human Machine Interface design for operators and commissioning agents. On-site commissioning. Solid modeling for manufacturing. Drafting engineering drawings for in-house manufacturing and external shops. He is also adept at fostering and maintaining vendor relationships and has worked on multidisciplinary projects alongside electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineers since early in college.
