Title: Wi-Fi Test Engineer
Duration: 1 year with possible extension 
Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 

Role:
– Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan layout, including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications.
– Execute Wi-fi alliance programs, examples: Wi-Fi 6/5/4, MBO, WPA3, Quicktrack to name a few.
– Help set the lab for new programs or replace existing programs; for example Wi-Fi 7.
– Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
– Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications.
– Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
– Get system and wifi logs and debug the failures efficiently.

Skills:
– 3-5 years of work experience.
– WFA program execution, and familiarity with testbed setup, and understanding of Wi-Fi supplicant and ADB commands.
– Comfortable working with WPA supplicant.
– Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
– Knowledge of WFA certification and product registration.
– Wi-Fi 7 lab setup experience is a plus.
– Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
– Team player and detail-oriented.

Education: BSCSE or related.

Salary range for this position is $60/hr to $70/hr (Equivalent to 120k to 140k). Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
