What We Need:

We are seeking a visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to spearhead our business development while collaborating with our marketing teams’ initiatives. As a key executive team member, the CRO will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth strategy, expanding our global market reach, and maximizing revenue opportunities. 

What You’ll Do:

As the executive leading our Business Development efforts across all of our business, you appreciate how sales pave the way for the entire company.  You have technical experience selling larger enterprise engagements and understand the value of how consulting, design, software, and hardware can come together in meaningful ways to drive innovation for clients. You are looking to enrich the quality of a potential client’s product or service through innovation and are keen on demonstrating a clear return on their investment. You will be surrounded by talented, sophisticated, and creative colleagues who will partner with you to drive success for you and the team.

Responsibilities/Growth Strategies:

  • Leads the development and execution of comprehensive revenue and growth strategies aligned with Fresh’s vision and objectives. 
  • Identify new market opportunities, assess industry trends, and drive innovation to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Directly responsible for Fresh’s customer acquisition and retention and revenue acceleration.
  • In cooperation with the CEO and executive team, develops plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s goals.
  • Builds a foundation for excellence in customer adoption through the design and use of cost-effective processes, metrics, and best practices with a knack for driving accountability.
  • Drives revenue growth through strategic partnerships, alliances, and client acquisition efforts. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, and investors, to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Collaborates on the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and market presence. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing initiatives and drive lead-generation activities across various channels.
  • Partners with all teams to develop effective sales strategies, tools, and processes to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Provide guidance and support to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
  • Oversees incentive programs that motivate the team to achieve their targets as well as training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company objectives.
  • Leads in the efforts to build a robust indirect sales strategy, channel strategy, and partner community.
  • Inspires and mentors a high-performing team of well-honed professionals across business development, marketing, and related functions. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceeds customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction backed by detailed and accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Collaborates with Ops and Practice Area teams to develop systems for compelling project proposals as they apply to our client’s unique needs.
  • Drives the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to project closure and contract negotiation.
  • Evangelizes client partnerships and project teams’ outcomes among internal peers and stakeholders.
  • Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of growth initiatives at all stages of the process: lead generation, nurturing, qualification, proposal and negotiation, closing, onboarding, and retention. Regularly assess performance, analyze data insights, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize strategies and drive results.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, focusing on driving business growth and expansion strategies within professional services or related industries.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive organizational change.
  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, and marketing, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Systems thinker effective at working across disciplines, building relationships, taking a holistic approach, and has demonstrated success navigating and operating in complex environments.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • 15+ years of proven business development experience and incentivizing behavior change. 
  • Maintain an existing book of businesses hungry for cutting-edge innovation and solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


Bonus Skills:

  • Deep experience in design, custom software development & system integration, and/or hardware engineering
  • Specialized experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, AI/ML, RPA, strategy and advisory, and/or custom software development consulting services

For this Washington-State-based role, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200k plus variable compensation bonus based on performance. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
