As we celebrate the holiday season and look ahead to 2016, we want to reflect on our achievements in 2015.

This past year will be remembered by many of us as a milestone year filled with big changes for Fresh Consulting and our team. In our early days, Steve Hulet, Nuriel Mizrahi, Elisha Terada and I fit in one office room together – and we were half the team! In 2015, we welcomed 26 new team members to Fresh bringing our global team to 53 people.

The Fresh team is, of course, the heart of all that we do. So, it is important to us to share in the joys that life brings us all. This past year, we celebrated every single staff person’s birthday with a special lunch and treats. We rejoiced in the marriages of two members of our creative team. And, we welcomed three Fresh babies – the most amazing deliverables! Our hearts have also been with those who experienced trials and loss this year. Life is too short.

As Fresh expanded in 2015, we looked for new ways to share the benefits of our growth with our staff. We expanded our family leave policy to give parents more time with their new family members. We offered more opportunities to attend conferences, classes, and hackathons to expand professional knowledge and skills. Plus, we hosted a variety of team bonding events from bowling to paintball to game nights because not all of our time together has to be work-related – we also just like to have fun!

In 2015, Fresh continued our work with many fantastic clients and welcomed 46 new clients. We grew our Asia Pacific team and opened an office in the UK to expand our client reach throughout Europe and beyond. Our Developer team grew by 166% and our Design team by 100%, adding staff with key UI/UX skills and expertise with a range of technologies. Our video team added a dedicated motion role.

For the third year in a row, Fresh was recognized by Puget Sound Business Journal as one of The Eastside’s Fastest Growing Private Companies and one of Washington State’s Fastest Growing Private Companies, as well as being named one of the Inc. 5000 America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.

We’ve come a long way since those first two office rooms where Fresh began – including having taken over the entire floor of offices, which is now bursting at the seams. The New Year will bring a new office, more new employees, and many exciting new projects for Fresh. There are sure to be many reasons to celebrate and plenty of surprises ahead.
