Jack of all trades ME with a background in aerospace MRO, metal castings manufacturing, and robotics. Graduated from UW then spent 5+ years in aerospace specializing in reverse engineering solutions. 5+ years on the manufacturing floor at a metal casting facility doing sales and engineering. Metal casting design DFM and tooling design for multiple various and big companies, think lots of medical devices. Currently working with Robotics and Automation, designing various mechanical systems, housings, end effectors, sensor integrations.
I am a local high level hockey coach for my kids’ travel teams, I grew up playing and now I coach, it can be exhausting but its fun. We’re also an outdoors family, lots of summer RV camping, and now I’m getting my kids in fishing and golf too. But I also just enjoy just talking ME projects. Regardless if it’s car roof racks or messing with Arduino projects.
