Ian is a developer who has been working in the technology industry since graduating from Seattle University. For the past 8+ years, they were an original member of the core team that built Rise Intranet and Perficient, a SaaS intranet product that services numerous customers largely surrounding SharePoint, Microsoft Cloud, and Office 365. Ian has also done some freelance work in the past and has authored some e-books on both Node.js applications and React.
Ian enjoys talking about all things soccer, having grown up playing soccer from youth to later in college. They especially enjoy talking about European leagues, such as the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions league. Their two daughters (10 and 8 years old) also play. In addition to soccer, Ian is a big NFL and Seahawks fan. Their other hobbies include running, reading, snowboarding, guitar, cooking, biology, and science in general.
