Experience Design Team
Jeff specializes in creative strategy, concept development, and digital design across all media platforms. He received his Masters in Multimedia Design from Duquesne University in Pennsylvania, and spent over 10 years working with interactive agencies in Los Angeles prior to relocating to Seattle. His experience includes the creative development of various digital campaigns and website launches, including strategy, concepting, wireframing, visual design, and various levels of prototyping. Jeff brings great skill in clearly communicating client goals and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to Fresh projects.
In his free time, Jeff loves hiking, road cycling, and adventuring in the great outdoors. He also enjoys photography, world history (he has an undergraduate history degree), and the occasional video game.
Marc specializes in product research, strategy and design across all media platforms and has been with Fresh Consulting since 2015. Prior to Fresh Consulting, Marc spent 12+ years working for interactive design agencies in Los Angeles where he designed online games, AR experiences, and websites for clients such as Sony Pictures, Dreamworks, Paramount, and Disney. Whether designing websites, applications, or embedded touchscreen interfaces, Marc focuses on translating business and customer needs into seamless experiences. Outside of work, Marc is an avid musician and coach of multiple sports.
Industrial Design Director
Aaron has experience in a broad spectrum of industries, from automobiles, consumer electronics, and children’s products, to aerospace and medical devices. He’s designed for companies such as Electrolux, Precor, and FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, Aaron creates, directs, and inspires compelling design experiences. He holds a BS in Transportation Design from the Art Center College of Design and has taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design.
He is a fan of soccer, tackle football, motorsports, cycling, classic cars, and Italy.
Logan is a Video Director with an emphasis in Human Experience Design. With over 10 years of experience working in video production and post-production, including positions at Soapbox Agency and Construx Software, Logan’s capabilities span the entire video process.
His skills include: live action video, photography, motion graphics, and VFX. He’s produced videos for brands like Dish Network, American Express, Humera, and United Way, and founded an online video production training course for media professionals.
Logan also has experience in the software industry. He released two iOS apps, self-designed on Swift and Unity, and created software development best practice videos for Code Complete author Steve McConnell.
Logan brings his gift for tying together brand story and marketing strategy to producing videos for Fresh clients that entertain, inform, and capture the attention of users.
UX Design & Development Lead
Focused in creating innovative products that improve our lives and help us grow in an ever changing world. I started my career in graphic design, making branding and marketing material, then moved to websites and apps, and learned to code as well. For the past few years I’ve been focusing on conducting research and helping companies incorporate UX into the development process and improving products.
Experienced in conducting field research, synthesizing insights from qualitative and quantitative sources, facilitating design and research workshops and creating actionable, empathetic, and evidence-based design strategies.
Familiar with all stages of the development process, from concept to launch, collaborating cross-functionally with user research, engineering and management to deliver positive outcomes.
UX Design Lead
Jessie is a UX Design Lead with over seven years of agency and freelance experience. Utilizing her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, she brings conceptual problem solving and social awareness to every product she creates.
Jessie also has a strong background in graphic design, having earned her degree from Seattle Central Creative Academy.
She has a passion for costuming in her free time, in addition to spending time with her cats, Onyx and Quartz, as well as her beloved Vizsla, Chillie. A native Seattleite, an appreciation for the local flora and fauna is in Jessie’s roots: gardening native species, taking in the architecture of the industrial district of South Park she calls home, and bopping around the local music scene, because dancing feels awesome.
UX Design Lead
Aravind Ravi is a well-rounded UX Design Lead skilled at user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design and usability testing. He has worked for global clients such as Citi, Epiq Systems, Virgin Media on large-scale Enterprise systems dealing with ambiguous business requirements and complex technical architecture. He thrives on bringing order to chaos and structure to complexity through a research-driven design process.
Aravind has a Masters degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering from University of Washington and strives for an empathetic understanding of human psychology in crafting useful, usable and desirable products.
Amber got her start in design screen-printing t-shirts. After a couple of years of printing other people’s designs, she started creating her own. She loved it so much that she decided to get her BFA in graphic design from the Art Institute of Seattle. She then segued from print into web and interactive design, collaborating with other designers, illustrators, developers, and clients to create custom responsive websites.
Previously as a UX/UI designer at Plexipixel, Amber delivered sites for The Pokémon Company, Sierra Nevada, and Microsoft. She is someone who enjoys the challenge offered by the ever-changing environment of the web and innovating on diverse projects.
Russell is a UI/Visual Designer with six years of experience in web design, illustration, and graphic design for companies like Microsoft, Google, and SAP. He has a strong ability to visualize solutions for complex problems and communications, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Web Design, focusing on UI and Visual Design, from Platt College-San Diego.
Russell is a Seattle transplant originally from San Diego and enjoys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his family.
Xi is a UX Designer focusing on user experience research and design. She’s skilled in UX for web and mobile design, including comparative analysis, prototyping, user testing, animation, and front-end development. She has also worked on Ubicomp products and AR/VR interface conceptual designs. Before becoming a user experience designer, XI had a background in environmental science and engineering and became a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator.
She holds a Master of Science in Information from University of Michigan, where she was a UX design fellow.
Xi likes learning about pets and wildlife and plays both RPG and casual video games.
Tyreil has a wide variety of experience working with teams of different sizes, from a small studio to a traditional agency setting. Brands such as Doritos, Disney, MTV, and TaylorMade have trusted him to deliver high-quality user experiences, and he’s designed products for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Prior to joining Fresh, Tyreil taught UX design courses at his alma mater, Eastern Washington University, where he received a BFA in Visual Communication Design.
When Tyreil isn’t designing, he spends time with his wife and two children and enjoys staying active — he ran track and field in college, was an amateur boxer, and earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He and his wife run Spartan Races together.
Digital Content Strategist
Ben is a Digital Content Strategist with a passion for blending design and writing into a cohesive product narrative. An advocate for research, strategy, and discovery at the front end of any project, Ben excels in high-level thinking about how to most effectively tell a brand’s story in an authentic and relevant way.
Ben received Bachelor’s degrees in Film Studies and Religion from Whitman College, as well as a Master’s in Education from Lipscomb University. He studied UX Design and Content Strategy at General Assembly before joining Fresh’s team in January 2016.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys reading voraciously, watching horror movies, playing video games, and building his skill as an aspiring novelist. He spends every second he can with his wife and his two beloved Boxer dogs, California and Tennessee.
Motion Graphic Designer
Justin has over seven years of agency experience creating motion graphics and video assets for clients like Coca-Cola, Fjallraven, Adidas, and WIRED. Justin’s skills include 2D animation, stop motion, motion control, storyboarding, and editing. He holds a BS in Communications from Brigham Young University – Idaho.
He also likes mountain biking, woodworking, rock climbing, and nerding out about space.
Sr. Industrial Designer
Jordan began his career at a creative agency that tied product design into brand experience, which has given him a holistic understanding of industrial design within the context of broader strategy. His core strengths include sketching, prototyping, CAD and rendering. Jordan earned a BS in Industrial and Product Design from Western Washington University.
Jordan also enjoys photography, hiking, and soccer.
Scotty is an Industrial Designer focused on positive user experience and leading-edge tech. He earned a BS in Industrial Design with a minor in User Experience Design from Western Washington University.
His design experience includes architectural products, motorcycle components, and home appliances for companies such as GE Appliances. Scotty’s expertise lies in user and market research, ideation sketching, concept development, sketch modeling and prototyping, 3D modeling and rendering, and model building.
When he’s not designing, Scotty enjoys backpacking, motorcycling, watersports, volleyball, and guitar.
Erika is a recent graduate from the Industrial Design program at UW, where she also studied interaction design and visual communication design, giving her a comprehensive understanding of design processes.
Her experience includes designing a modular backpacking pack, a device for measuring the airflow of lung transplant patients, and a hot plate designed for small living. Erika often uses Photoshop, Illustrator, SOLIDWORKS, and Keyshot during her design process and is skilled in physical prototyping techniques like vacuum forming, sewing, and 3D printing.
Outside of design, Erika likes to do many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and snowboarding. She also enjoys watching documentaries and listening to podcasts in her free time.
Sr. Project Manager & PM Lead
Jamie is a Sr. Project Management Lead well versed in building digital experiences. She has a deep background in digital work helping dozens of companies accomplish their goals, collaborating internally with design and development teams for optimal results while being a partner to stakeholders.
Jamie has managed design and development projects for Fresh clients such as Moss Adams, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, NW Trek, and University of Washington.
Venessa is a UX Designer with a diverse background in product management, teaching, and journalism. With her product management experience, she is able to bring a strategic lens to her work as a designer. She loves diving into the deep end with her clients—learning about a business’s ecosystem and designing creative solutions that answer to business needs, while ensuring the user’s needs are heard, understood, and answered for.
After getting her master’s degree, and teaching students around the world, she completed General Assembly’s immersive course in UX Design. She spends her time out of work enjoying motherhood, trying new recipes, and getting sucked into creative projects.
